A short history of Liverpool Street Station

London’s Liverpool Street station opened in 1874 and became within 20 years the largest number of platforms for a London terminus station. The station was built on two main levels, one for underground platforms and trains and on the upper levels by the main metropolitan train stations.

The New Mega Complex that is 100 Liverpool Street

If you are a regular City goer, you could not have missed the construction site is in and around 100 Liverpool street for some time now. Out of all the build work out emerges the futuristic foundations of some rather big developments.

Still, in build, and with the opening due in 2019 these structures look something out of a futuristic sci-fi movie.
